RULES
Bring a friend, relative or co-worker to the Club or find a playing partner at Trolley Car! When you arrive, sign in and follow the fair play rules to play the winner at a table. If a table is already open, go ahead and play! Check out the complete set of table tennis rules here.
Scoring
A typical match is the best 3 out of 5 games. The first player to reach 11 points wins that game (although a game must be won by at least 2 points) Each player serves two points in a row. However, if a score of 10-10 is reached, then each player serves only one point before switching servers. After each game, the players switch sides of the table. In the final 5th game, the players switch sides again after either player reaches 5 points.
MEMBERSHIP
If you are interested in playing at Trolley Car Table Tennis Club, walk in during open play hours or enjoy the benefits of unlimited play with a monthly or annual membership. Pay for a membership online or at the Club. Inflation doesn’t exist at Trolley Car. Our daily play and membership fees have not changed since Trolley Car Table Tennis Club opened in 2011!

PRIVATE EVENTS
Host your next event at Trolley Car - perfect for birthday parties, organizational get-togethers and friend/family outings! You are welcome to bring your own food and beverage for a fun outing that your guests will enjoy!
$50/hour + $5 per adult + $3 per youth (under 18)
Includes supervision and your choice of instruction, exhibition play, mini tournament and/or open play!
Available after 6pm Saturdays & Sundays or before 5pm Mondays - Fridays.
LEAGUES & TOURNAMENTS
Weekly Butterfly Leagues with Prize Money:
Trolley Car Table Tennis Club is hosting weekly table tennis leagues for players of all levels. The League takes place every Tuesday at the Club, starting at 7pm. Trolley Car’s Tuesday night Leagues are $5 per person plus the normal $5 Club entry fee, if you are not a Trolley Car annual or monthly member.
League Nights will be capped at 24 participants to leave tables available for regular Trolley Car players who don't wish to participate. To play in a League Night, just show up at the Club on any Tuesday night before 7pm.
Trolley Car Table Tennis Club teamed up with PingPod to host Quarterly Tournaments. In addition, all annual Trolley Car TTC members are invited to register for a free 6-month trial Philadelphia membership to PingPod at no additional cost. Here are the details of what PingPod x Trolley Car has in store.
Quarterly Butterfly Tournaments:
Trolley Car and PingPod are co-hosting quarterly USATT sanctioned tournaments at Trolley Car Table Tennis Club! Check out our “Upcoming Events” for dates and times. Tournament entry fees vary between $20-$30 per person per event depending on the event level. Tournament sign-ups and payments will take place through the PingPod website or app Community section. You will need to become a USATT member in order to participate in the tournaments but basic USATT membership is only $25/year.
